According to reports, SEBI has advised that no prominent public figures such as celebrities, sportsmen, and others could promote crypto products and that the advertising disclosure should mention the potential violation of the law. When members questioned authorities on different elements of cryptocurrency, SEBI expressed its opinion to the finance ministry. Crypto, a platform rich with risk capital, has started enlisting famous celebrities to promote crypto trading in India.
